My Interview with Donna Frazer for Ladies first and International Womens Day

On a Sunny morning in September i was given the task by Susan Beresford and Jeanne-Marie from Unercroydon who are doing a project and exhibition called Ladies First, which is an exhibition that promises to inspire and illustrate the importance of women in the workforce, women who are empowered in life and celebrating women.

My task was to meet Donna Frazer who is a 4x Olympian and 400 meters champion and to interview her about her life and how she started out in her love of her running and the sacrifices she had to make to achieve them , we got along very well and laughed a lot and discovered we had much more in common as we have both had and survived breast cancer and we both were treated by the same professor at the Royal Marsden in Sutton.

Donna is now an ambassador for Breast Cancer now a charity that Marks and Spencer are supporting, so Donna asked me if i would like to go up to london with her to the launch of the 2016 Marks and Spencer campaign and meet the ladies who had been chosen and meet Karen Hardy from Strictly Come Dancing. So i went up to Hyde Park and met the Ladies and had a greeat morning as well as Karen teaching us to do a little bit of Salsa and with my two let feet that was interesting.

A great opportunity for me not only to get involved in the Ladies First Project but hopefully do some fundraising with Donna for Breast Cancer in the future.

The Interview will be ready for International Womens day in March 17.
